Portarlington takes bronze on the national stage
Portarlington has another reason to celebrate.
Portarlington received bronze in the Small Tourism Town category at the 2026 Australian Top Tourism Town Awards, announced at Parliament House in Canberra on 15 September.
The national recognition follows Portarlington’s gold at this year’s Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards. Two achievements, and a lovely moment to acknowledge the people and places that make this coastal town special.
A celebration of the whole town
The waterfront may be what first catches your eye, but there is much more to get to know here. Local food and wine, coastal scenery and genuine hospitality all contribute to the Portarlington experience.
Behind that experience are local businesses, tourism operators and community members who put time and care into welcoming people. This is their achievement, and one the whole town can share.
Congratulations to everyone who has helped Portarlington earn recognition on both the Victorian and national stage.
